August Divans

Well we are well and truly into a typical steamy Toronto summer. Hope everyone is enjoying it and also managing to keep cool.

The dates for August are again all Saturdays, August 6th, August 20th and August 27th.

Saturday August 13th is booked for a private divan. Do remember it is possible to book any of the dates above should there not be any guests already or a date of your choice for a private divan. Why not try one to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion. You can choose not just the date but should you wish a venue of your choice.

In India a divan or diwan is a council or assembly of leaders – and sometimes refers to the council chamber itself.  It comes from a middle eastern word meaning “bundle of written sheets, small book or collection of poems.”
