Well it was a good group of people on Thursday and was tremendous fun also. The conversation was very interesting from Galen Weston, wine, Ireland (of course), movies, movies and more movies, recipes y mucho mas!

Patricia your choice of wine did work very well, white slightly on the sweet side - delish! Must say the Sauvignon Blanc was also successful, as was the Gewurztreminer; but am a willing guinea pig to other wine and food experiments. But the single 'helpful hint' was to stay away from wines with a lot of tannins.

Think I wouldn't be putting myself out on a limb by saying that I think the Pumpkin Halwa with Vanilla icecream was probably the most well liked dish. Of course since we also ended up celebrating two (one significant) birthdays there was a quite tasty lemon meringue cake also which went down quite smoothly.

Might it be a thought to plan a Christmas dinner Indian style for the coming Season?
